A note from the director

A BIG Announcement On Our 1-Year Anniversary!

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY!…..a half-crazed Producer/Director had the idea of pushing a talented, half-crazed Parisian actress into 52 degree open water at 6 in the morning. Production on LIFE AND THE LADY began, Autumnal Equinox, 2015, Fallen Leaf Lake!

WELCOME TO ACADEMY AWARD-NOMINATED STUDIO X!
We would like to welcome the first members of the blossoming POST-PRODUCTION crew, starting with the esteemed, visual effects department Studio X at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco! We are honored to have the fine artists and crafts people, led by Catherine Tate, Sasha Korellis, and Michael Willis to an ongoing consultation and collaboration to tentatively start at picture lock. Studio X’s outstanding contributions include the Academy Award nominated ‘Theeb’ in 2015, Ben Zeitlin’s ‘Beasts of the Southern Wild’ and “Fruitvale Station,” to name a few. (Special thanks to Andy Wood and Nick Walker of ILM for the hook up 🙂

While we are still looking to wrap up the last, short, final scene, we have begun taking the steps and bringing in the talent needed to take ‘Life and the Lady’ as far as we can! See an ABC news feature on the department below:
